5 Ways to Add Fixer Upper Style to Your Home

If you are like me, once you watched this show, you became obsessed! I just love how Joanna Gaines decorates all the homes they work on. Joanna and this show actually inspired me to start making some of my own Fixer Upper inspired home decor products and sell them on Etsy. Here are 5 ways you can add Fixer Upper style to your home for relatively cheap.

1. Magnolia Wreath - this is one of the key ingredients to almost all of Joanna's houses as you can see in the picture above. You can hang it on an old window frame, metal scroll art, a mirror, or even your front door. It adds a touch of greenery and warmth to your home. She does sell them on her Magnolia website, but for $95, it is a little too pricey for me. That's why I made my own and now sell them on our Etsy shop for only $55! 2. Metal/Wood Scroll Wall Art - Joanna is always finding beautiful wall art to add to her Fixer Upper Homes. As I was browsing through the Hobby Lobby website (love this store), I found an antique wood and metal wall decor that looked familiar. Come to find out its the exact same one Joanna used on one of her homes. If you are not familiar with Hobby Lobby, they place categories of decorations on sale each week. Look for this metal scroll wall art to go on sale for 50% to make it only $45 or if you can't wait, there is always a 40% coupon available. Click Here for Hobby Lobby Scroll Wall Art

3. Lighting/Light Fixtures - Another key to a beautiful Fixer Upper home is lighting. Whether it be a chandelier, pendant lights or lamps, there is always beautiful lighting in the homes that give it warmth and character. I must love this house because this wire chandelier I found at World Market (another favorite store) is from the same home as above. Not sure if it is the exact one, but it sure looks the same and for only $169, you can't go wrong: Click Here for World Market Chandelier

4. Monogram Wall Art - Joanna loves to personalize her Fixer Upper homes with monogram letter wall art. Again, I found this one at Hobby Lobby and it looks like the exact same as what Joanna used in this laundry room. When it is 50% off, it's only $15 at Hobby Lobby. I think this must be my favorite episode because I keep referring to this house! Click Here for Hobby Lobby Metal Letter

5. Inspiring Phrase Wall Art - When looking at all Fixer Upper houses, there is always an inspiring phrase that is added to each home to give the owners added warmth, personalization and a "feel good" feeling. Joanna does like to use metal signs occasionally she gets from a local metal shop. She does sell this one on her Magnolia Market website for $95 but I want to support my fellow Etsy shop owners and this one is a little cheaper for $78.
